Boerewors and mash

- Boerewors
- Onions
- Oil
- Spices
- Potatoes
- Milk
- Salt and pepper
- Gravy powder
Method:
- In a frying pan, fry the onion in the oil until soft.
- Add the boerewors and spices.
- Cover the pan and cook on a medium to low heat.
- While the boerewors is cooking, peel the potatoes and boil them in a pot.
- When cooked, drain the water, keeping the potatoes in the pot.
- Use a masher to mash the potatoes.
- Add three tablespoons of milk and some salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Mix the gravy powder according to instructions on the packet.
- Add to the boerewors and stir until thick.
- Place the mash on a plate and pour the gravy, onions and boerewors on top.
- Delicious!
