Paul Gwambe is this weeks winner, he lives in Orlando West, he is 14 years old and in Grade 7. He would like to become a fashion designer or an architect one day. As an architect, he would design buildings that would not collapse during an earthquake. As a fashion designer, he would design modern cultural clothes to help people remember their roots.
Ivariah Maipath who is in grade 7 is this weeks winner. She really enjoys school and wants to become a scientist one day. She believes we have the power to make a difference in our country and even the world! Be sure to check out all the other letters that were sent in.
The winning letter this week is by 13 year old, Mduduzi Rahehlolo. He comes from Orlando West and attends Makhubo Primary School. Well done Mduduzi! His favourite subjects are Maths, Natural Sciences, Art and English. When he grows up he’d like to become an artist, he included one of his drawings with his letter.
Congradulations to Mthokozisi Mnisi, who wrote this week’s winning letter. Mthokozisi is 16 years old and from Nelspruit. The letter is about Mthokozisi’s inspirational father who treats everybody in the community kindly and always tries to help the poor.
This week’s winning letter is by Manoko Poopedi who is 12 and lives in Polokwane. She loves ReadRight and enters all the competitions. She believes that: “People should be able to control their anger. ‘For one who gets tempered quickly is a fool.’” Manoko also included a beautiful drawing in her letter.
High fives go out to Tseptor Nxuso, the winner of this week’s Listen up section. Tseptor attends Laudium Primary School, she loves reading and helping the community and has big dreams for South Africa. She won a ReadRight bag filled with surprise goodies.
