The 7 March edition of ReadRight has great letters, competitions and giveaways. A Fantastic classroom activitie and a very enriching story.

The winning letter this week is by 13 year old, Mduduzi Rahehlolo. He comes from Orlando West and attends Makhubo Primary School. Well done Mduduzi! His favourite subjects are Maths, Natural Sciences, Art and English. When he grows up he’d like to become an artist, he included one of his drawings with his letter.

This weeks game is aimed at the foundation phase. It introduces three basic operations; addition, subtraction and multiplication. The focus of the game is to get learners to begin to understand the concepts of the operations and how they are linked.

This week’s story is about a storm destroys all the houses, Gugu and Sakhile learn how to build a strong house from a very wise builder, who teaches them all the important steps in building a house. At the end of the story there are great classroom activities.
