Teleni Joyride Mabasa of Giyani will be 14 on June 21. She is always on the look out for children to whom she can pass on her clothes and shoes. She was awarded a certifi cate in Social Welfare for handing over her uniform to a learner in primary school. Together with her classmates, she raised funds for the disabled children in Letaba. Teleni writes: “My mission is to help reduce the crime rate in South Africa and to infl uence the youth to be more focused on their education, as it is the key to success.” She also has a dream of becoming a TV presenter.

Rosa Domingos, 12, of Bloemfontein says she loves her friends and her sister Anna “because they care, keep my secrets, are honest and trust me”. She likes to draw, write and skip; loves dogs, birds, bees, butterfl ies, and the environment, and helping her school collect for charity. She sent lovely drawings.
